@fr_brennan I love this… You can do it for totally private hosts w/o a public web server too via DNS challenges :) e.g. my Synology NAS is chenoska.home.micahrl.com, only accessible on my network, and it gets a real Let’s Encrypt cert! Requires a DNS host with an API, I use Amazon route53.
