I think cancel culture as we know it today is a product of the digital, and right now just has a woke veneer. All digitally-anchored communities are mechanically the same as wokeness. Woke cancellation mobs will end, and what will replace them?

Cancel culture is left wing. The right lacks the requisite cultural and political dominance required to enact "cancel culture" in any kind of meaningful way. Media, HR, administrative and activist culture, and every major US institution, is stacked to favour leftist imperatives.
