Jesus Christ "for you" is full of mind erasing rage bait. I keep swiping over to it by accident. HELP

I bought an expensive weird keyboard to hit shift with my thumb instead of my pinky, which dramatically improved my RSI. I wonder if this would also be viable?
(It's more complicated than that, also moved tab/enter/ctrl from pinkies. https://t.co/8NjQvmCgsd) https://t.co/UBUM3asJYy

@joshsojoshsoj @Jowjoso We can do ā§mas in February. We can even get ornaments and a tree!
@joshsojoshsoj
@Jowjoso @mrled Ha yeah, it did kinda stress me out for a bit. And yeah Iād honestly love that, but sadly wonāt be able to till around February. So it probably wonāt be a Christmas thing by then, but yes Iād love that
@Jowjoso
@joshsojoshsoj @mrled Man he always wins wrapping!
actually? I recall you didn't love the pressure of normal Christmas - wanna have No Pressure Christmas sometime in the coming weeks? like cookies and bullshit but no presents?
@joshsojoshsoj
@mrled These look so awesome. I really need to step up my game

Wrapping is one of my favorite parts of ā§mas (which we tend to actually celebrate on New Year's Day for scheduling reasons.) https://t.co/G2HyH3sqoZ

@fractalcounty
Donāt let anyone convince you that more corporate control over your ability to create and share things is āgood for artistsā.
Artists will almost certainly survive what AI creates, but could never survive from what IP law takes away.
@fractalcounty
Artists are allowing short term fear over AI art to be weaponized as a way to expand corporate influence over artistic expression- something that will likely never be undone if codified into law.
Fan art, fan fiction remixes, sampling- itās all at stake.
@fractalcounty
The campaign aims to work alongside the notorious Copyright Association, whose member companies made their fortune destroying public domain and suing small artists, to install a āfull-time lobbyist in DCā to legally bribe expansions to IP law.
Great news for artists. https://t.co/DstFgcfi4M
@fractalcounty
Yesterday, a GoFundMe claiming to āprotect artists from AI technologiesā launched with a $200k goal.
Turns out, itās actually a scheme to expand corporate IP law on behalf of some of the biggest enemies in the fight for artistic freedom (i.e, Disney)
Itās already raised $70k. https://t.co/qxzm0KLtbO https://t.co/m0QRPgFwjq
@arvalis
The Concept Art Association is raising money to hire a lobbyist to take the fight against AI image generators to DC. This is the most solid plan we have yet, support below. https://t.co/DxjCBl9OKl

When I can't stand it I write it in notes app and then don't post it anywhere. Months later I come across it and delete with disgust. Who would ever want to read that, I think to myself.
@mrled
I hate everyone who always complains about everything and can't stop posting catchphrases about politicians whose districts they don't live in, but it takes every ounce of self control not to post those things myself (even though mine are very good and unique and interesting)

@joao_o @kubefirst @cryptoeinstein_ @austin_castel Ahh yeah. It does seem really cool, especially bootstrapping gitlab onto the cluster itself.
@joao_o
@mrled @kubefirst @cryptoeinstein_ @austin_castel you're right, local is for a fast local experience (k8s + gitops + vault + ...), not yet meant to work with worker nodes + HA
@mrled
@joao_o @kubefirst @cryptoeinstein_ @austin_castel Oh, does that work on bare metal linux nodes with HA? I saw local mode but the impression I got from the diagram was that it was for a cluster on your laptop.
@joao_o
@mrled @kubefirst @cryptoeinstein_ @austin_castel it actually does, there is a local cluster installation, it's basically `kubefirst local` and it does all the job for you and doesn't require a Cloud provider. (I'm a Kubefirst dev)
@mrled
@kubefirst @cryptoeinstein_ @austin_castel This looks really cool. My use case is a local cluster on bare metal though, which doesn't look like it's supported. (Yet?)
@kubefirst
@cryptoeinstein_ @mrled @austin_castel Thanks for the shoutout @cryptoeinstein_ , happy to answer any questions you have @mrled !
@mrled
@thecodinghatter K3s is what I'm using now. It's good and part of the way there with integrated etcd and traefik, but you still have to configure HA (metallb or kube-vip), secrets management (sops or sealed-secrets), certs, persistence... all before you can install your real workload.
@thecodinghatter
@mrled Like https://t.co/RRy6akr7yx ?
Or https://t.co/X05SEt2NrC?
Rancher also has some neat multicluster management features, though https://t.co/MdHGq4sZ0D is probably good enough for many uses.

Is it the case that adding "show your work" to a ChatGPT prompt is always helpful? If so, why don't they just do that on the back end? If not, why not?
